TCF IRN Exam Preparation – Level B2 (Naturalisation)
Since 1 January 2026, candidates for French nationality must prove level B2 in French — assessed in listening, reading, speaking and writing. The TCF and TEF are among the officially recognised tests. Language Teams prepares you for all four exam papers, in a small group, in central Paris.

Understand audio documents from everyday and administrative life.

Read and understand texts, letters and notices.

Express yourself and interact clearly with the examiner.

How it works
A new session starts every month. Book online — 6 places per group.
2 sessions of 1.5 hours per week, afternoons or evenings, at our school in Paris.
Method mastered, simulations done, weak points worked on with your teacher.

Your questions
What French level do I need for naturalisation?
Since 1 January 2026, CEFR level B2 is required, across all four skills. The TCF and TEF are among the recognised certifications.
Do I also need to take the civic exam?
Naturalisation also involves a civic component. We run civic exam preparation workshops on Saturdays.
What if I'm not at B2 yet?
Start with our general French courses and join the preparation once your level is close.
